Elise Adams is no stranger to show business. Since age three she has entertained on the stage and in the studio. Elise is a dynamic, professional entertainer whether performing with a group or as a soloist.
While growing up, Elise's family, The Fellinghams, performed professionally for 12 years at state and county fairs, resorts and conventions across the nation and internationally. Originally The Fellinghams performed a highly-choreographed variety act, singing in four-part harmony. Later, the group evolved into a country bluegrass act and the Fellinghams performed on ten instruments.
Her family recorded two CDs: "Family in Harmony" and "Sounds of the Country" with Elise as the lead singer and guitarist in the family act. During the final year The Fellinghams performed, they entertained world leaders at the United Nations and at the World Congress of Families in Switzerland. The band completed their career in a theater at Six Flags Great America in Chicago, Illinois, performing 273 shows.
While in college Elise entertained thousands in Far East Russia and Japan as a member of the world-renowned Young Ambassadors of Brigham Young University. While at BYU, Elise majored in Music, Dance, Theater and received a Fine Arts Degree. Additionally, she earned a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate in Theater. While attending BYU, Elise directed Music, Dance, Theater camps in Lehi, Utah during the summer months. Young people from many surrounding communities attended the workshops and learned advanced vocal and performance skills.
Soon after graduating from BYU in 2002, she married the love of her life, Les Adams. Elise spent an exciting two years working with the Granite School District in Salt Lake City, Utah as a Choral Teacher at Jefferson Jr. High. She attended the University of Utah and earned an additional endorsement for secondary education in vocal music. Elise decided to take a break from teaching full time in the public school system to be a Mom and open her Studio where she teaches voice, acting, and guitar lessons.
Elise Adams officially began her solo career with the album "Simple Gifts of Christmas" which was released winter, 2003. As a vocalist and performer Elise continues performing and recording. Since moving to the Greeley, Colorado area, Elise has re-opened her Studio offering private voice and guitar lessons and now travels throughout the Colorado area performing a sacred presentation for women of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints entitled "Women of Destiny."
